Ljubljana
During winter and Christmass time you simply must see its dreamy central European character that prevails. During summer it has a relaxed Mediterranean feel to it. Because it is remarkable for its rich tradition, youthful vibrancy, cultural creativity, feel for entertainment, and numerous green spaces, people love to visit it.
Bled
This is a magical place with a beautiful lake. Surrounded by green hills and woodland with the magnificent Julian Alps as a background is a must see. However, its main attractions are Bled Castle, Bled Island with a church. You can go to various outdoor activities and natural sights. You can go to the island by taking a small boat or participate in many other possible activities such as hiking, biking, horseback riding, swimming, fishing, and more. Also when there, do not forget to taste their original desert called Bled Cream Cake.
Maribor
The second largest city in Slovenia, Maribor boasts an Austrian old core. One of the main attractions is the Castle followed closely by the oldest growing grapevine in the world as certified by Guinness World Records! At 400 years and counting, this is a must see for any wine lover and of course tasting some of the old wines stored in the Old Vine House next to it as well.
Piran
Located on the tip of a long, tapering peninsula stretching into the Adriatic, Piran is simply delightful. Having retained its compact medieval shape and character. The town is a tangle of arched alleys and tightly packed ranks of houses. Fantastic Venetian-inspired architecture, and exquisite little churches.
