Eger
Situated in its own sunny valley between the Mátra and the Bükk, Eger is famed for its wine Bull’s blood, its minaret, and the heroic legend attached to its castle, which overlooks a florid Baroque town center with by far the liveliest atmosphere in the Northern Uplands. For wine tasters the Valley of the Beautiful Women is a must which is home to plenty of wine cellars where you can sample many different wine right from a barrel.
